Its history dates back to the 7th century, when Allah revealed the Qur’an to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in the city of Makkah.
Over a period of 23 years, these divine revelations shaped the spiritual, moral, and social foundation of Islam.
The early Muslim community faced trials and persecution, leading to the historic migration (Hijrah) from Makkah to Madinah in 622 CE—an event that marks the beginning of the Islamic calendar.
In Madinah, Islam developed into a strong, united community based on justice, brotherhood, and service to humanity.Within a short time, Islam spread across the world through the efforts of committed believers who embodied good character, honesty, and compassion. Muslims contributed greatly to global civilization in areas such as science, governance, education, medicine, architecture, and social development.

The strong legacy of Islamic scholarship and youth leadership throughout history reminds us that young people have always played a key role in the growth and protection of the Ummah. Following the example of the Prophet (peace be upon him), NACOMYO continues to promote unity, discipline, knowledge, and community development, ensuring that Muslim youths remain ambassadors of Islam wherever they are.
